How can we unblock our ability to change course?
The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.
Albert Einstein (1879–1955), physicist
In a nutshell, if we are to overcome the challenges that have prevented us from changing course for the past several decades, then we need a new approach to:
- our acceptance of disempowering complexity, busyness, information overload, and individualism
- how we can (actually!) bring about a course change
- our acceptance of the goals, design, and performance of all our societal betterment systems (like trade, justice, education, and healthcare)
- how we collaborate
Accordingly, this page will feature six sections:
- If busyness is the disease, essentialism is the cure
- We can overcome our muddle by consuming clear, essential information
- We can overcome our division by teaming up to meet common challenges
- We can trigger our course change by focusing on ending harmful business
- We can mature our course change by choosing a wiser game plan than ‘more’
- We can expedite our course change by collaborating on essential tasks
Page status: This manifesto page, along with the Challenges page, is still being worked on and will be published around mid October.
