A simplicity approach

How can we unblock our ability to change course?

The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.

Albert Einstein (1879–1955), physicist

In a nutshell, if we are to overcome the challenges that have prevented us from changing course for the past several decades, then we need a new approach to:

  • our acceptance of disempowering complexity, busyness, information overload, and individualism
  • how we can (actually!) bring about a course change
  • our acceptance of the goals, design, and performance of all our societal betterment systems (like trade, justice, education, and healthcare)
  • how we collaborate

Accordingly, this page will feature six sections:

  1. If busyness is the disease, essentialism is the cure
  2. We can overcome our muddle by consuming clear, essential information
  3. We can overcome our division by teaming up to meet common challenges
  4. We can trigger our course change by focusing on ending harmful business
  5. We can mature our course change by choosing a wiser game plan than ‘more’
  6. We can expedite our course change by collaborating on essential tasks

Page status: This manifesto page, along with the Challenges page, is still being worked on and will be published around mid October.
