Why haven’t we already changed course?

In a nutshell, if we are to change course (quickly enough to prevent ecological collapse), then it is essential for us to identify and understand:
- whatever’s been preventing us from changing course
- how our behaviours are driven by both our unchangeable nature and changeable context (the systems that shape our attitudes, options, and actions)
- the key habits we need to break
Challenges sections:
- We don’t have the societal change ingredients of focus, belief, and numbers
- We have been too busy to clearly see our own nature, systems, and plight
- We are kept busy, muddled, and divided by our flawed economic system
- We can’t change course without empowering ourselves as one global team
- We can’t transform our economic system if we keep accommodating its flaws
